Week 1: Introduction

We started the course on 18th November, titled Fab Future on Data Science, led by Professor Neil Gershenfeld from MIT. The program introduced us to the foundations of data science and its transformative potential in shaping future technologies. Guided by Professor Gershenfeld’s expertise, we are gaining valuable insights into how data-driven approaches can solve complex problems and inspire innovative solutions.

Week 1: Assignment

1. Select and document a dataset to analyze
2. Become familiar with the user interface of JupyterLab Server

Dataset

For this course, I have decided to use the Dataset on "School Performance Analysis" of the US DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION: College Scorecard [Here]https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/data This data talks about how gender, parental education, and preparation affect exam results.
