Week 4: machine learning¶

Machine learning (ML) is a subset of artificial intelligence where systems learn from data to identify patterns and make decisions without being explicitly programmed. Instead of hard-coded rules, ML uses algorithms to analyze large datasets, improve its performance over time, and then use this learning to make predictions or classifications on new data. This process allows computers to adapt and improve from experience, as seen in applications like recommendation engines and facial recognition
