About me

Kuzuzangpo ! I'm Kelden Sherab Lhamo and I'm currently working as an associate analyst at Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck Super Fab Lab. I've been working for the super fablab for almost a year now and I've got to experience a lot within this time.

My background

I come from Thimphu, which is the capital city of a small landlocked country called Bhutan. I have a bachelor's degree in Instrumentation and control engineering from a engineering college we have in Bhutan located in the south and its called College of Science and Technology.

Previous work

Although working at Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck Super Fab Lab is my first job, I've done internships and worked on various projects.

One of my favourite internship experiences I had was when I worked for a company known as Meditronic.

I was able to travel around the country, specifically the east side where basic health care was still neglected due to under developement. I worked with them on a project they were doing with the Ministry of Health known as Hear, Listen and speak. The company was distributing hand held simple otoscope to train teachers and help students in getting their ear checked.

After working with them, my interest in Assitive technology grew a lot and after joining Super Fab Lab, I got the opportunity to work on a AT project. We are planning to distribute the AT to Special Education Need schools around the country.

One of my favourite thing about working at super fab lab is the fact that the opportunity to create something new never ends !!!
