Data science textbooks usually introduce a list of steps for data science projects. They're generally similar, and it doesn't really matter which step structure and naming you prefer. In the presentation "Making research software reproducible and sustainable" by Saranjeet Kaur Bhogal during FAB23 in Bhutan, I came across the accompanying illustration of Scriberia*. It's not only a lighthearted and illustrative cartoon, but also an indication of data science as a cyclical process. Therefore, I'll try to use the terminology from this illustration, both for each session of this course and for the final project as a whole.
