About me

Who I am

I’m Sedat Yalçın, a FabLab Coordinator and Fab Academy Instructor at Hisar/Idealab Fablab, a leading K12 institution in Turkey. I work in digital fabrication and Human-Computer Interaction, supporting students in developing functional prototypes. I am also the co-author of a high school–level AI textbook and contribute to instruction and project development within the Fab Academy ecosystem.

I run a cybersecurity club at Hisar School and joined Fab Futures Cybersecurity 2026 to build curriculum and hands-on challenges for my students. My final project — HisarCTF — is a CTF platform I designed to teach the attack techniques from this course to high school students next year.
