About me

Hi! My name is Angelina Yang, and I am a recent high-school graduate from Charlotte Latin School, Charlotte in North Carolina. I’m headed towards MIT this fall, where I seek to major in electrical engineering and computing, with a minor in biomedical engineering.

My background

I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, so I’m pretty excited (and a bit nervous?) to move to Boston this coming fall! I’m a 2024 Fab Academy alumnus, and I’ve since worked with both Rhythmlink International as an R&D engineer, where I worked with my peers to devise a novel quality assurance testing mechanism for EEG elecrodes and develop a self-regulating temperature monitoring sleeve to improve nerve conduction study outcomes.

Beyond the lab, I’ve worked with several organizations, including but not limited to advocating for hands-on STEM pedagogical models at FAB24, speaking with permanent representatives at the United Nations 2025 International Women’s Conference, and initiating local grassroots initiatives through North Carolina Asian Americans Together.

For fun, I enjoy vlogging (@sincerely, angelina) and most things creative! Recently, I’ve been immersed in e-textile design and acrylic painting!
