About me¶

I’m a Belgian-born tech entrepreneur based in Quebec City, Canada. I’m the founder and CEO of FabLab4D, an organization that creates immersive technology workshops focused on team building, digital fabrication, and design.
My background¶
A few years ago, I walked the Camino de Santiago. My starting point was my birthplace in Belgium, and the destination was 2,500 km away, i.e ..far, far away according to Shrek definition. How is it possible to walk 2,500 km ? Basicaly, it means walking about 30 km every day. Some days are easy, others are bumpy. There are muddy roads and big mountains, new things to discover each day.
The Fab Futures adventure is a bit like that. The first mountain was “Data Science”, at the end of 2025. I enjoyed the journey and ended up on the other side of that mountain. Then, in 2026, another mountain named “Microelectronics”, even more challenging and totally out of my confort zone. When you work full time, there is absolutely no room for improvisation. In Fab Futures, twice a week, like a clock, you have to deliver an assignment, some are easier than others !
I’m ready for the next one: cybersecurity.
Previous work¶
FabLab4D: I established this fabrication laboratory to provide immersive technical workshops aimed at aligning and strengthening corporate teams, alongside public initiatives such as parent-teen workshops and programs encouraging girls in STEM fields.
Software Management: I spent over three decades building tech products and leading global engineering teams, including working as a software team manager for EXFO, a prominent telecommunications test and measurement company.
